THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(BORDERS FESTIVALS – KELSO)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) NO 1 ORDER 2019

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 06:00 on 23 June 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 20:00. The closures are required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Kelso Civic Week Morebattle Rideout. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall:

  1. drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along those lengths of road in the Kelso and Morebattle areas at the times specified in the attached Schedule. These closures will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a police officer in uniform and/or appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road; and
  2. permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked in the Woodside Park Car Park, Kelso.
