(BORDERS FESTIVALS - YETHOLM)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2019

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 17:30 on 12 June 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 21:00. The closure is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Yetholm Festival Stob Stanes Rideout. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following streets and roads in the Yetholm area:

Back Road, Town Yetholm

D227/4, Town Yetholm - from Back Road to D228/4

D228/4, Town Yetholm - from D227/4 to D229/4, Town Yetholm

D229/4, Town Yetholm - from D228/4 to High Street, Town Yetholm

High Street, Town Yetholm – from D229/4 to B6352

B6352 – from High Street, Town Yetholm to Venchen Cottages

C48 – from Yetholm Mains to Shotton

D115/4 – from Halterburn to The Green, Kirk Yetholm

Main Street, Kirk Yetholm

C48 – from Main Street, Kirk Yetholm to Dow Brae, Town Yetholm

Dow Brae, Town Yetholm – from C48 to High Street, Town Yetholm

These closures will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a police officer in uniform and/or appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road.
