(SELKIRK SILVER ARROW SHOOT)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16A(6) and Section 16B(6)(b) of the said Act. The Order, which has a maximum duration of one day, will come into force at 14:15 on 25 May 2019 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, being the Selkirk Silver Arrow Shoot 2019.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following streets in Selkirk:

1. Scott’s Place, High Street, Market Place, West Port and The Green from 14:15 to 15:00; and
2. The Green, West Port and Market Place from 17:40 to 18:00.

These closures will come into effect only at such times as instructed by a police officer in uniform.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
