THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(BORDERS FESTIVALS – LAUDER)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2019

 

The Scottish Borders Council are making the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, with the consent of Scottish Ministers under Section 16A(6), and Section 16B(1)(b) of the said Act. The Order, which has a maximum duration of sixty-five days, will be in effect on 10 May, 29 and 31 July, 1 and 3 August 2019. The Order is required to facilitate the holding of relevant events relating to Lauder Common Riding 2019.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall (i) drive, or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle, or (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked, along those lengths of road on the dates and at the times specified in the Schedule below. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
