(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (Various Streets, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 22 April 2019 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00. The Order is required to facilitate access for a crane.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Sunnyhill Road, Roadhead and Langlands Road, Hawick.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Sunnyhill Road, Dean Road, Overhall Road, Wilton Park Road, Victoria Road, Wilton Path and Langlands Road to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained.
