(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2019

The Scottish Borders Council (Mansfield Road, Hawick) (Temporary Closing) Order 2019 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 18 March 2019 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two weeks - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Hawick Flood Protection Scheme advanced works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Mansfield Road, Hawick from Eastfield Road to Mansfield Gardens.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Mansfield Road, Mansfield Crescent, Mansfield Park and Mansfield Gardens to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
