THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(C54 BLOOMFIELD COTTAGE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 26 November 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for overhead power line replacement.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C54 at Bloomfield Cottage near Ancrum.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C54, B6400 and C54 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
