(D3/4 NETHER BLAINSLIE)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 19 November 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 23 November 2018 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BT network upgrade works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along D3/4 at Nether Blainslie.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D3/4, D2/4, C12, C76 and D3/4 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
