THE SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(THE ROW AND CASTLE WYND, LAUDER)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018

 

The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.  The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 November 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 22 November 2018 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for a SGN new customer connection.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the following roads in Lauder:

(i)    The Row – from Castle Wynd westwards for 15 metres;

(ii)   Castle Wynd – from The Row northwards for 10 metres; and

(iii)  Castle Wynd – from The Row southwards for 10 metres.

The alternative routes are as follows:

(a)   The Row to Castle Wynd, north section – via The Row, Loan View and Castle Wynd to the point of closure;

(b)   Castle Wynd, north section to The Row – the above in reverse;

(c)   The Row to Castle Wynd, south section – via The Row, West High Street, The Avenue and Castle Wynd to the point of closure; and

(d)   Castle Wynd, south section to The Row – the above in reverse.
