(CHAPEL STREET, SELKIRK)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at midnight on 31 August 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of six months – 24 hour closure. The closure is required for site demolition and redevelopment.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Chapel Street, Selkirk from Scotts Place westwards for 30 metres.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Chapel Street, Ettrick Terrace, High Street and Scotts Place to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
