(A72 DIRTPOT CORNER)
(TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 13 August 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 13 May 2019 - 24 hour restriction. The Order is required in the interests of road safety while embankment works are being carried out.
When the Order comes into effect a temporary 30mph speed limit will be in force on the A72 at Dirtpot Corner from a point 25 metres west of the access road to Nether Horsburgh to a point 645 metres east of the same junction.
