(STATION ROAD, STOW)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 23 July 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of three days between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 each day. The Order is required for footway works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Station Road, Stow from Mill Road to Galashiels Road.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Mill Road and Galashiels Road to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
