(LOAN, HAWICK)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 24 July 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of One day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for carriageway patching.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Loan from No’s 15-29.
The alternative route for Eastbound traffic is via Loan, Drumlanrig Place, Bright Street, Myreslaw Green, Beaconsfield Terrace and Loan to the point of closure, for Westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
Service buses will not be permitted through the works and will need to follow the diversion.
