(THE LOAN, GATTONSIDE)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 26 February 2018 and is expected to remain in effect until 9 March 2018 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Scottish Power works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along The Loan, Gattonside, from a point 25 metres north of its junction with the footway to Monkswood northwards for 150 metres.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is The Loan, B6360, B6374 and D6/4 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained with minor delays.
