(B712 AND D63/1 STOBO)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 07:00 on 11 December 2017 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 15 December 2017 and will be in effect only when appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road. The Order is required for BT network upgrade works.
When the Order comes into effect:
(a) a 10mph speed restriction will be in force on the B712 from Home Farm to its junction with the D63/1 between the hours of 07:00 on 11 December 2017 and 18:00 on 15 December 2017; and
(b) no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D63/1 from the B712 to the A72 from 09:00 on 11 December 2017 to 18:00 on 15 December 2017. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B712 and A72 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
