(HORNSHOLE BRIDGE) (ONE-WAY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2013
The Scottish Borders Council, on 2 July 2013, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Sections 1 and 2 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to said Act, made the above Order. The Order will come into operation on 8 July 2013.
The effect of the Order is as described in the Notice previously published in the Hawick News on 25/1/2013.
A copy of the Order as made with relevant map may be inspected at the Traffic Section of the Department of Environment and Infrastructure, The Scottish Borders Council, Council Headquarters, Newtown St Boswells from Mondays to Thursdays between 8.45 am and 5.00 pm and on Fridays between 8.45 am and 3.45 pm and also at the Council’s Contact Centre at High Street, Hawick during normal opening hours from 5 July 2013 to 16 August 2013 inclusive.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 5 July 2013, make application for the purpose to the Court of Session.
