The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles)  to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

 

New Sneddon Street, Paisley from approx. 85m north of Blacklaw Lane to Carlile Place.

 

Reason for Restriction: Emergency sewer works.

 

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.

 

Alternative Routes:  Blacklaw Lane – Back Sneddon Street – Wallace Street or vice versa.

 

This notice will be in force from today Thursday 16th March 2023 until Monday 27th March 2023.

This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
