The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles)  to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

 

Old Sneddon Street - outside Paisley station entrance (space for 2 x coaches).

Old Sneddon Street - parking bays (outside local shops), prior to the traffic lights (space for 2 x coaches) - from building number 42 to building number 58.

Abercorn Street, from North Croft Street to Carlile Street (West Side).

 

Reason for Restriction: Rail Replacement Bus Service.

 

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. 

 

Alternative Routes:  N/A.

 

This notice will be in force on the following weekend;

Saturday 3rd September and Sunday 4th September 2022.

 

This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
