TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Houston Road, Bridge of Weir
The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Bridge of Weir in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Houston Road, from Elm Road to Old Bridge of Weir Road.
Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Patching.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Emergency and local access will be maintained.
Alternative Routes: Houston Road, Main Street, A761 Bridge of Weir Road, Deafhillock Roundabout, B789 Barochan Road, Houston Road and vice versa.
This notice will be in force on Monday 18th October 2021 to Friday 22nd October 2021. This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
