A8 Junction/Abbotsinch Road/Inchinnan Road/Greenock Road
The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Renfrew in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
A8 Junction.
Abbotsinch Road, Paisley – from the A8 junction to Arran Avenue roundabout.
Inchinnan Road, Renfrew – from the A8 junction eastwards to the junction with Kirklandneuk Road. (Access maintained for cruising club)
Greenock Road, Inchinnan – from the A8 junction northwards for approx 200m.
Reason for Restriction: Carriageway reconstruction & new services.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Emergency and local access will be maintained.

This notice will be in force from 2000hours on Friday 17th September 2021 to 0600hours on Monday 20th September 2021. This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
