TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

Paisley Road, Renfrew.

 

The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles)  to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Renfrew in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

 

Paisley Road, From Porterfield Road to Craigielea Road.

 

St Andrews Road and Albert road closed at Junctions with Paisley Road and Victoria Drive East Limited access maintained.

 

Reason for Restriction:  Carriageway Resurfacing.

 

OVERNIGHT WORKS RETURNED TO TRAFFIC DURING THE DAY.

 

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.  Local and Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

 

Alternative Routes:   Glebe Street / Sandy Road / Broadloan or Vice Versa.

 

This order will be in force on Monday 23rd  August 2021 till Sunday 5th September 2021.  This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
