The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that to accommodate social distancing at locations where there is a high pedestrian demand additional footway width be utilised from the existing carriageway provision. As such no vehicle shall wait, load or unload or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following lengths of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire.

 

Lacy Street, Paisley. – Layby outside Williamsburgh Primary School.

28m north of East Lane for 55m (East Side).

 

Reason for Restriction: To provide additional footway width to allow for social distancing.

 

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the restricted area.

This order will be in force on Wednesday 14th April 2021 till Monday, 31st October 2022.

This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
