TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING

Middleton Road, Linwood

 

The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that to manage additional traffic volumes and queueing of vehicles anticipated on or near the road, due to the reopening of the Civic Amenity Site, no vehicle shall wait, load or unload or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles)  to wait or load on the following lengths of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

 

Middleton Road, Linwood.

Reason for Restriction: To reduce congestion for traffic by allowing for queuing on one side of the carriageway and allowing free flow of traffic on remaining road space.

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the restricted area. 

 

Alternative Routes:  N/A.

 

This order will be in force on Monday, 1st June 2020 till Friday, 31st December 2021.

This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
