TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Main Street, Houston
The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load (both sides) on the following lengths of road in the town of Houston in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:-
Main Street, from Old School house lane to South Street.
Reason for Restriction: Beer Festival.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Emergency access will be maintained.
Alternative Routes: South Street, Bogstonhill Road, North Street, Kilmacolm Road or Vice Versa.
This notice will be in force between 1100 hours and 2100 hours on Sunday, 26th May 2019. This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
