Based on Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 1, Paragraphs (a) to (f).

The Renfrewshire Council (Paisley, Corsebar Road & Environs) (Various Restrictions and Pay & Display) Order 201*

Statement of Reasons for the Proposal

“The Renfrewshire Council (Paisley, Corsebar Road & Environs) (Various Restrictions and Pay & Display) Order 201*” is considered necessary:

(a) for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the roads or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising;

To improve road safety, including at the junction of Glencorse Road with Corsebar Road;

(c) for facilitating the passage on the roads or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists);

By improving visibility for all road users, including at the junction of Glencorse Road with Corsebar Road;

(f) for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs;

By providing a pay & display long stay parking place and a pay & display short stay parking place on Corsebar Road;
