Statement of Reasons for the Proposal
The (Intermittent 20 mph speed limit) is considered necessary
(a) for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other
road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising by reducing the speed limit to a maximum of 20 mph when lights are flashing
(c) for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians) to allow pupils to access and egress the primary school in a safer environment.
