TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

Ferry Road, Renfrew

 

The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Renfrew in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

 

Ferry Road, from Canal Street to Castlehill Crescent.

 

Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing.

 

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Emergency access will be maintained.

 

Alternative Routes: Canal Street, High Street, Glasgow Road, King’s Inch Road, Ferry Road or Vice Versa.

 

This notice will be in force on Tuesday, 25th September 2018 till Saturday, 29th September 2018. This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
