(A8 Greenock Road, Bishopton)
(Temporary 30 mph Speed Restriction) Order 2017
The Renfrewshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other existing powers, hereby makes the following Order:
- This Order may be cited as “The Renfrewshire Council (A8 Greenock Road, Bishopton)(Temporary 30 mph Speed Restriction) Order 2017” and shall come into place on Monday 13th March 2017 and will remain in operation until Monday, 12th March 2018.
- No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 mph on the following length of road, by reason of works proposed to be executed on or near that road.
A8 Greenock Road, from a point 1000m west of Barnsford Road to Barrangary Road.
Reason for Restriction: Major Road Improvement Works.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
