TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Old Greenock Road, Erskine
The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Erskine in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
Old Greenock Road, Erskine, from the roundabout at A726 Southbar Road to Linburn Road.
Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing
Access will be maintained to premises and to buses under the direction of on-site staff.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.
Alternative Routes: A726 Southbar Road, Greenock Road,Kingston Road, Old Greenock Road and vice versa.
This notice will be in force from 0001 hours on Monday 10th June 2013 for a maximum period of 5 days. This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2002.
