Annual historic parade to celebrate Lilias Day.

The parade starts on Tandlehill Road in Kilbarchan and proceeds on to Easwald Bank (the Main Road). It continues through the village on the main road, Low Barholm, and High Barholm. At Barn Green the parade splits with those walking in the historical parade walking up Ewing Street and Steeple Street. Floats and vehicles travel along Barn Green. The historical parade then goes along News Street and Park View and enters Kilbarchan Public Park. Floats and vehicles travel along Shuttle Street and onto Wheatlands Drive where they stop and allow participants to disembark.

Proposed Route:

Millennium Gardens, Ewing Street to Steeple Square. Arrive 8pm. There are normally only 20 - 30 people taking part in this part of the procession with a small gathering of around 50 people at Steeple Square to watch Habbie play his Bagpipes and return to the Steeple. This takes only 5 or 10 minutes and then people disperse from there.
