APPLICATION FOR A TEMPORARY PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE
PROPOSED FAIRGROUND AT ROBERTSON PARK, PAISLEY ROAD, RENFREW PA4 8LS
NOTICE is hereby given that an application for a temporary public entertainment licence has been submitted to Renfrewshire Council by John Kenneth Thomson, 14 Shore Street, Dalmarnock, Glasgow G40 4ES in respect of a family fairground at Robertson Park, Paisley Road, Renfrew. The proposed times of operation are Tuesday 30 August 2022 to Sunday 11 September 2022 5pm until 9:30pm.
Any objection or representation relating to the application shall be entertained by the licensing authority if, but only if, the objection or representation-
(a) is in writing;
(b) specifies the grounds of the objection or, as the case may be, the nature of the representation;
(c) specifies the name and address of the person making it;
(d) is signed by him or on his behalf;
(e) was made to them within 7 days of the date of this notice
It shall be competent for a licensing authority to entertain an objection or representation received by them before they take a final decision upon the application if they are satisfied that there is sufficient reason why it was not made in the time required as in accordance with the above.
An objection or representation shall be made if it is delivered by hand within the timescale stated above or posted (by registered or recorded delivery post) so that in the normal course of post it might be expected to be delivered to the licensing authority within that timescale.
