APPLICATION FOR A PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE
PROPOSED DRIVE-IN ENTERTAINMENT
SKYPORT,1 BURNBRAE DRIVE, LINWOOD, PA3 3BU
NOTICE is hereby given that an application for a public entertainment licence has been submitted to Renfrewshire Council by Savoy Events LTD, 6th Floor Gordon Chambers, 90 Mitchell Street, Glasgow, G1 3NQ in respect of Drive- In event including movies, live bands, DJs, karaoke, comedy, variety acts and children’s entertainers at Skyport, 1 Burnbrae Drive, Linwood, PA3 3BU from 30 October 2020 to 01 November 2020. The proposed times of operation are Friday 1100 to 0200, Saturday 1100 to 0200 & Sunday 1100 to 0000.
Any objection or representation relating to the application shall be entertained by the licensing authority if, but only if, the objection or representation-
(a) is in writing;
(b) specifies the grounds of the objection or, as the case may be, the nature of the representation;
(c) specifies the name and address of the person making it;
(d) is signed by him or on his behalf;
(e) was made to them before 12 October 2020
It shall be competent for a licensing authority to entertain an objection or representation received by them before they take a final decision upon the application if they are satisfied that there is sufficient reason why it was not made in the time required as in accordance with the above.
An objection or representation shall be made if it is delivered by hand within the timescale stated above or posted (by registered or recorded delivery post) so that in the normal course of post it might be expected to be delivered to the licensing authority within that timescale.
