On 18/1/23 the Council made Orders under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purpose of permitting various Parades/Marches and Events on the following dates and locations. The Orders will temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic and all parking and loading on both sides of the following lengths of road:-
(1) 22/1/23 – Chinese New Year Parade, Perth – High Street – Scott Street – Mill Street – Bridge Lane and Horse Cross. Alternative route:- Local Diversions; (2) 23/4/23 – Perthshire Classic Car Tour, Perth – A85 Crieff Road (Newhouse Road to the access road at No. 208 Crieff Road). Alternative route:- Local Diversions; (3) 3/6/23 & 4/6/23 – Classic Car Rally, Perth – Queen’s Bridge to Perth Bridge. Alternative route:- Perth Bridge – Gowrie Street – Dundee Road – Queen’s Bridge; and (4) 11/6/23 – Blackford Gala Day – B8081 Moray Street – Stirling Street, Blackford. Alternative route:- Local Diversions. Pedestrian thoroughfare and emergency access will be maintained.
