On 21/4/22 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of the U43 from its junction with the B8063 to its junction with the C407 a distance of 2.2 kilometres or thereby. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- B8063 – C409 – C407 – U43. This applies from 5/5/22 for an estimated period of 2 weeks to permit carriageway patching works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained
