On 5/4/22 the Council made Orders under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purpose of permitting the Perth Races 2022 Season on the following dates in 2022: 20 to 22 April, 11 to 13 May, 5, 18 & 30 June, 10, 26 & 27 July, 13 August, and 5, 21 & 22 September. The Orders will temporarily (i) restrict all vehicular traffic to 30/10mph and (ii) prohibit parking and loading for all vehicular traffic on both sides of the following roads:- (A) A93 Perth to Old Scone from the end of the existing 30mph limit at Upper Springlands to Langedge Bridge for 4.48 kilometres or thereby, (B) U87 Old Scone Road between the A93 Old Scone and Stormont Road junctions for 840.8 metres or thereby, and (C) U88 Stormontfield between the A93 Old Scone and Perth Race Course access road junctions for 776.2 metres or thereby. Emergency vehicle and pedestrian access will be maintained.
