On 16/12/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit (1) all vehicular traffic from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of Rannoch Road, Perth from its junction with Newhouse Road to its junction with the roundabout leading to Campsie Road a distance of 220.12 metres or thereby. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- Newhouse Road – Burghmuir Road – Firbank Road – Rannoch Road; and (2) all vehicular traffic from parking and/or loading on both sides of (i) Rannoch Road from its junction with the roundabout leading to Campsie Road to its junction with Firbank Road a distance of 257.08 metres or thereby; (ii) Firbank Road from its junction with Rannoch Road to its junction with Burghmuir Road a distance of 281.63 metres or thereby; (iii) Burghmuir Road from its junction with Firbank Road to its junction with the roundabout leading to Newhouse Road a distance of 502.63 metres or thereby; and (iv) Newhouse Road from its junction with the roundabout leading to Burghmuir Road to its junction with Rannoch Road a distance of 439.67 metres or thereby. This applies from 10/1/22 for an estimated period of 3 weeks to permit carriageway resurfacing works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
