On 21/7/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of (a) East Bridge Street from its junction with the A85 Gowrie Street to its junction with Lochie Brae a distance of 55.06 metres or thereby; (b) Lochie Brae from its junction with East Bridge Street to its junction with Muirhall Road a distance of 165.82 metres or thereby; (c) Muirhall Road from its junction with Lochie Brae to its junction with No 1 Potterhill Gardens a distance of 121.77 metres or thereby and (d) the A93 Isla Road from its junction with Main Street, Bridgend to its junction with Keir Street a distance of 173.44 metres or thereby. As part of the local diversions this Order will also temporarily prohibit parking and loading on both sides of (i) Bowerswell Road for its full length between the A85 Dundee Road and Manse Road; (ii) Hatton Road for its full length between Bowerswell Road and Corsie Hill Road; (iii) Corsie Hill Road for its full length between Hatton Road and Muirhall Road (iv) Muirhall Road for its full length between Corsie Hill Road and Lochie Brae; (v) Manse Road for its full length between Hatton Road and the A85 Dundee Road and (vi) Dupplin Road for its full length between the A94 Strathmore Street and Gannochy Road; (vii) Gannochy Road for its full length between Dupplin Road and Lochie Brae; (viii) Main Street, Bridgend for its full length between the A85 Gowrie Street and the A93 Isla Road; (ix) Kier Street for its full length between the A93 Isla Road and the A94 Strathmore Street and (x) Stormont Road for its full length between the A93 Isla Road and the A94 Angus Road. Local diversion routes in place. The one-way order on Back Wynd will be suspended for the duration of this Order. This applies on 1/8/21 for an estimated period of 3 weeks to permit carriageway resurfacing works. These works will be carried out in phases. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
