On 9/6/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily restrict all vehicular traffic to a maximum speed of 40mph on (i) the C442 from its junction with the C405 south-westwards for a distance of 312 metres or thereby; (ii) the C443 from its junction with the U137 south-westwards for a distance of 673 metres or thereby; (iii) the C405 (West) from a point 365 metres or thereby west of its junction with the C443 north-westwards for a distance of 290 metres or thereby and (iv) the C405 (East) from a point 300 metres or thereby east of its junction with the C443 to its junction with the U344 for a distance of 780 metres or thereby. This applies from 18/6/21 as the Council acting as Traffic Authority is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement reduced speed limits in the Campmuir area as part of the spaces for people safety initiative. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
