On 9/6/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily restrict all vehicular traffic to a maximum speed of 40mph on (i) the A924 from a point 425 metres west of its junction with the A93 westwards for a distance of 260 metres or thereby; (ii) the A93 (south east) from a point 269 metres southeast of its junction with the A924 eastwards for a distance of 245 metres or thereby and (iii) the A93 (north) from a point 269 metres or thereby southeast of its junction with the U94 north-westwards for a distance of 220 metres or thereby. This applies from 18/6/21 as the Council acting as Traffic Authority is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement reduced speed limits in the Bridge of Cally area as part of the spaces for people safety initiative. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
