On 9/6/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily restrict all vehicular traffic to a maximum speed of 40mph on (i) the A923 Road (East of Kinloch) from a point 100 metres west of its junction with the C433 Palace Road to a point 160 metres east of its junction with the C433 Palace Road a distance of 205 metres or thereby; (ii) the A923 Road (West of Kinloch) from a point 660 metres east of its junction with the U115 Main Road to a point 850 metres east of its junction with the U115 Main Road a distance of 205 metres or thereby; (iii) the C433 Palace Road from its junction with the A923 to a point 50 metres north of its junction with the A923 a distance of 205 metres or thereby and (iv) the U115 Main Road from a point 130 metres south of its junction with the A923 to a point 330 metres south of its junction with the A923 a distance of 205 metres or thereby. This applies from 18/6/21 as the Council acting as Traffic Authority is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement reduced speed limits in the Kinloch area as part of the spaces for people safety initiative. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
