On 10/6/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 40mph on the following roads:- (i) the A924 (east of Ballintuim) from Wester Cally Farmhouse for a distance of 300 metres or thereby east of Wester Cally Farmhouse; and (ii) the A924 (west of Ballintuim) from Ballintuim Church for a distance of 300 metres or thereby west of Ballintuim Church. This applies from 18/6/21 as the Council acting as Traffic Authority is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement reduced speed limits in the Ballintuim area as part of the spaces for people safety initiative. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
