On 10/6/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 40mph on the following roads:- (i) the U125 from a point 223 metres or thereby north of its junction with the U128 Old Church Road northwards for a distance of 533 metres or thereby; (ii) the U126 from a point 314 metres or thereby east of its junction with the U125 Birnam Wood Way eastwards for a distance of 311 metres or thereby; and (iii) the U128 from a point 437 metres or thereby east of its junction with the C437 Wolfhill Road south-eastwards for a distance of 254 metres or thereby. This applies from 18/6/21 as the Council acting as Traffic Authority is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement reduced speed limits in the Wolfhill area as part of the spaces for people safety initiative. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
