On 10/6/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to (ONE) restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 20mph on the following roads:- (i) the C448 Main Road from a point 30 metres or thereby east of its junction with Loop Road westwards for a distance of 900 metres or thereby; and (ii) Loop Road for its entire length, a distance of 194 metres or thereby; and (TWO) restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 40mph on the following roads:- (i) the C448 Main Road (west & northwest) from a point 155 metres or thereby northwest of its junction with the C449 south-eastwards for a distance of 155 metres or thereby, then eastwards for a distance of 92 metres or thereby; (ii) the C448 Main Road (east) from a point 30 metres or thereby east of its junction with Loop Road eastwards for a distance of 350 metres or thereby; and (iii) the C449 from its junction with the U448 south-westwards for a distance of 988 metres or thereby. This applies from 18/6/21 as the Council acting as Traffic Authority is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement reduced speed limits in the Fortingall area as part of the spaces for people safety initiative. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months
