On 8/6/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to (ONE) restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 20mph on the following roads:- (FIRST) KILSPINDIE (1) C401 from a point 78 metres or thereby southwest of its junction with U156 north-eastwards for 731 metres or thereby; and (2) U156 from its junction with C401 north-eastwards then north-westwards for 549 metres or thereby; and (SECOND) PITRODDIE (1) C401 from a point 108 metres or thereby southwest of its junction with U83 north-eastwards for 221 metres or thereby; and (2) U83 from its junction with C401 north-westwards for 515 metres or thereby; and (TWO) restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 40mph on the following roads:- (FIRST) KILSPINDIE on the U156 from a point 549 metres or thereby southeast then southwest of its junction with C401 north-westwards for 210 metres or thereby; and (SECOND) PITRODDIE on the U154 from its junction with C401 to its junction with A90 for 1268 metres or thereby. This applies from 18/6/21 as the Council acting as Traffic Authority is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement reduced speed limits in the A827 Lawers area as part of the spaces for people safety initiative. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
