Perth and Kinross Council (Newton Street, Blairgowrie) (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2021 - Perth & Kinross Archived

On 6/5/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit all vehicles from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of (1) Newton Street from the access to No. 13 Newton Street to the access to No. 17 Newton Street a distance of 70.8 metres or thereby, (2) George Street from its junction with Newton Lane to its junction with Newton Street a distance of 26.7 metres or thereby, and (3) West George Street from the access to No. 70 West George Street to its junction with Newton Street a distance of 26.7 metres or thereby.  The alternative route for vehicles is via:- A93 Perth Street – A93 High Street – John Street – George Street.  This applies from 17/5/21 for an estimated period of 1 day to permit Scottish Water works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months.  Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
