On 21/1/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to (a) promote one way orders to permit traffic to travel in an anti-clockwise direction on the following lengths of roads (i) South St John’s Place for its full length (from King Edward Street to Kirkside), (ii) Kirkside for its full length (South St John’s Place to St John’s Place), and (iii) St John’s Place for its full length (Kirkside to King Edward Street) and (b) suspend temporarily the existing one way provisions contained in the Perth and Kinross Council (Perth Traffic Management) Consolidation Order 2015 in relation to (i), (ii) and (iii) above. This applies from 1/2/21 for an estimated period of 8 months to permit building works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
