On 26/1/21 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit (ONE) all vehicles from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of the following roads:- (1) Earl’s Dykes, Perth between the A93 York Place and Kinnoull Causeway junctions for 43.34 metres or thereby. (Alternative route for vehicles (AR):- A93 York Place – A989 Caledonian Road – Kinnoull Causeway); and (2) Kinnoull Causeway, Perth from its junction with the A989 Caledonian Road to its junction with the access road leading to the surgery car park for 41.25 metres or thereby. (AR:- A989 Caledonian Road – A93 York Place – Earl’s Dykes) and (TWO) all vehicles from (a) turning right from the Perth Railway Station access road onto the A93 York Place; and (b) turning left from Elibank Street onto the A93 York Place. (AR:- A93 York Place – A93 Glasgow Road - circumnavigate the A93 Glasgow Road/Riggs Road/Glover Street Roundabout – A93 Glasgow Road.) This applies on 8/2/21 for an estimated period of 8 weeks to permit Scottish Gas Networks mains renewal works. The works will be carried out in phases and not all restrictions will be in place at the same period of time. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access to premises will be maintained.
