On 5/11/20 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 20mph on the following roads in Pitlochry:- (1) A924 Atholl Road, Pitlochry from its junction 150 metres west of its junction with East Moulin Road to its junction 20 metres west of its junction with Larchwood Road a distance of 750 metres or thereby, (2) A924 West Moulin Road, Pitlochry from its junction with the A924 Atholl Road to its junction with Strathview Terrace for a distance of 145 metres or thereby, (3) Station Road, Pitlochry for its entire length a distance of 192 metres or thereby, (4) West Lane, Pitlochry for its entire length a distance of 75 metres or thereby, (5) Rie-Achan Road, Pitlochry for its entire length a distance of 151 metres or thereby, (6) Mill Lane, Pitlochry for its entire length a distance of 98 metres or thereby, (7) Ferry Road, Pitlochry from its junction with the A924 Atholl Road to its junction with the access to Pitlochry Community Hospital a distance of 414 metres or thereby, and (8) Birnam Place, Pitlochry from its junction with the A924 Atholl Road to its junction with Greenside Road for a distance of 53 metres or thereby. This applies from 7/11/20 as the Council, acting as Traffic Authority, is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement a reduced speed limit to assist with physical distancing safety measures around the Pitlochry area. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
