On 5/11/20 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 20mph on the following roads in Blairgowrie:- (1) Leslie Street for its entire length a distance of 171 metres or thereby, (2) Reform Street for its entire length a distance of 212 metres or thereby, (3) Croft Lane for its entire length a distance of 206 metres or thereby, (4) The Croft for its entire length a distance of 114 metres or thereby, (5) Ericht Lane for its entire length a distance of 48 metres or thereby, (6) Tannage Street for its entire length a distance of 152 metres or thereby, (7) A93 Gas Brae for its entire length a distance of 95 metres or thereby, (8) Allan Street for its entire length a distance of 122 metres or thereby, (9) Upper Allan Street from its junction with Allan Street for a distance of 16 metres northwards, (10) A93 Perth Road from its junction with William Street to its junction with Reform Street for a distance of 96 metres northwards, (11) A93 High Street for its entire length a distance of 208 metres or thereby, and (12) Commercial Street from its junction 30 metres north of its junction with Tannage Street to its junction 70 metres south of Tannage Street for a distance of 100 metres or thereby. This applies from 7/11/20 as the Council, acting as Traffic Authority, is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement a reduced speed limit to assist with physical distancing safety measures around the Blairgowrie area. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
