On 17/8/20 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 20mph on the following roads around the Collace area:- (1) the C441 Main Road, Collace for its entire length, a distance of 536 metres or thereby, and (2) the C441 Collace from its junction with Main Road to its junction with the C440, a distance of 251.8 metres or thereby. This applies from 19/8/20 as the Council, acting as Traffic Authority, is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement a reduced speed limit to assist with physical distancing safety measures around the Collace area. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
